Speech and language services
From a first assessment to ongoing therapy and group programs, our clinicians build a plan around your goals and the languages your family speaks, in person or by telepractice.
Our services work together as one plan rather than a menu of separate appointments.
Most clients begin with an assessment. Your clinician combines an interview with you, play-based or conversational tasks and standardized tests, and looks at every language your child or you use. You receive a written report and a meeting to go over the findings and recommendations.
If therapy is recommended, individual treatment follows. Together, we set specific goals and agree on how often to meet. Each session ends with strategies you can use at home, so progress continues between visits. For young children, parent coaching and Hanen programs are often part of this step.
Some children benefit from practising new skills with peers. Our group programs give them that chance in a structured and motivating setting, alongside or after individual therapy.
Telepractice is not a separate service but a way to receive any of these services online, anywhere in Quebec or Ontario. Our assessment tools have been adapted for online use, and many clients move between in-person and online sessions as their needs change.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
No. You can contact us directly by phone or through our contact form. If a physician, teacher or daycare educator has raised a concern, let us know and, with your consent, we can take their observations into account.
What languages do you offer services in?
Our clinicians speak seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Greek and Armenian. Availability in each language varies, so tell us which languages your family uses and we will match you with the most suitable clinician.
Can I claim speech therapy on my private insurance?
Many private insurance plans cover services from a registered speech-language pathologist. We provide receipts you can submit to your insurer. Coverage varies from plan to plan, so we suggest checking your policy before your first appointment.
Should I choose in-person sessions or telepractice?
Both follow the same clinical standards. In-person sessions take place at our Marché Central clinic in Montreal. Telepractice is available to clients anywhere in Quebec and Ontario, and it works especially well when you live outside Montreal or when travel or scheduling is difficult. We can help you decide what suits you or your child.
How long does therapy usually take?
It depends on the type of difficulty, its severity, the person's age and how often strategies are practised at home. After the assessment, your clinician will discuss goals, session frequency and how progress will be reviewed, and you will revisit the plan together along the way.
What ages do you work with?
We work with toddlers, children, teens, adults and older adults. Most of our clients are children, and we also see adults for concerns such as voice, stuttering, swallowing, accent modification and communication after a stroke or brain injury.
Let's talk about what you're noticing.
No referral needed. Call the clinic or send us a request, and we'll match you with the right clinician.
