VoxLingue Toddler Club

VoxLingue Toddler Club is a playgroup for toddlers who may need additional support in building the skills necessary for preschool. Our group emphasizes socialization, language and speech development, and collaborative activities to build peer relationships. Current research indicates that toddlers learn speech and language skills best through targeted, language-rich play interactions, songs, and books.

At VoxLingue Toddler Club, we work on age-appropriate and carefully selected books, toys, songs, and sensory materials that specifically target early speech sounds, vocabulary, and play skills. By implementing evidence-based strategies within the structure and routine of the class, and revisiting familiar material, we can improve your child’s skills in the areas of:

Receptive and Expressive Language
Vocabulary and Concept Development
Speech Sound Development
Receptive and Expressive Language
Pretend Play Skills
Cooperative Play
Formulating Ideas

VoxLingue Preschool Readers Club

VoxLingue Preschool Readers Club is a book club for children who may need additional support in building the skills necessary for kindergarten. Our club emphasizes narrative skills, or a child’s ability to retell a story. Current research indicates that retelling stories serves as the bridge from oral language to reading and writing and is a strong indicator of school success.

At VoxLingue Preschool Readers Club, we work on one age-appropriate and carefully selected book and by implementing evidence-based strategies within the structure and routine of the class and revisiting familiar material, we can improve your child’s skills in the areas of:

Receptive and Expressive Language
Vocabulary and Concept Development
Executive Functioning (attention and memory)
Auditory Processing
Formulating Ideas
Pre-reading: rhyming, letter and word boundaries, letter identification, reading conventions, print awareness
